I have a new story, 'All the Devils are Here', appearing in the autumn issue, #9, of the always excellent Weird Horror Magazine, edited by Michael Kelly, and published by his imprint, Undertow Publications. Since its debit in 2020, the magazine has published consistently top notch fiction from some of the best writers out there, writers like John Langan, Simon Strantzas (who writes a regular column), Steven Volk, Andrew Humphrey, Steve Rasnic Tem, Brian Evenson, Neil Williamson, M. Rickert, Kay Chronister and Gary McMahon.
Undertow, through its series of single author collections, original novels and reprints of classic dark fantasy titles, deserves the support of any reader who cares about quality horror and fantasy literature. Highlights for me from the Undertow catalogue include the reprint of John Langan's masterpiece of supernatural horror, The Fisherman; M. Rickert's equally enthralling and deeply moving The Shipbuilder of Bellfairie (my review here), Priya Sharma's stunning collection All the Fabulous Beasts, Eric Schaller's Meet Me in the Middle of the Air, Tobi Ogundiran's Jackal, Jackal, and Daniel Mills collection of hauntingly poetic gothic, Among the Lilies (my review here.) The cover art commissioned by Kelly for all of these books always seems beautifully apt, hinting the nature of the fiction within. It's clear that Undertow is an operation dedicated not only to publishing quality fiction, but to producing books which are themselves beautiful objects.
